Tuesday, June 19, 2018 - For Immediate Release

Buckeye -

The candidate challenge period is over and Michelle Harris is the presumptive Democratic nominee for State Senate in Legislative District 13.

As a clean elections candidate, Michelle is refusing dark money so that she can independently  represent constituents and their interests. She is committed to meeting and engaging with voters from Yuma to Wickenburg. To date, she has traveled 2,000 miles and reached out to 12,000 voters.

Michelle grew up in Buckeye, served over 21 years in the United States Air Force, and four generations of her family live in Arizona.  She has committed her life to serving her country, serving her community, and now she hopes to serve the voters of Southwestern Arizona as State Senator.

Michelle’s platform focuses on restoring integrity and transparency to state government, funding public education, and building prosperity for the voters in her district and across the state.

“Arizona deserves leaders who are willing to make the tough decisions for our state,” Michelle said to supporters.  “We need people who will lead fearlessly and not allow unelected and unaccountable out-of-state interests and PACs to drive the legislative process.”
