In the August 28 Primary, Michelle Harris, a first-time Democratic candidate, garnered over 11,000 votes in LD13, an almost 40% increase over 2016, and outpacing turnout in 43 of 50 precincts.
As a clean elections candidate, Michelle is refusing dark money so that she can independently represent constituents and their interests. She is committed to meeting and engaging with voters from Yuma to Wickenburg. To date, she has traveled 2,000 miles and reached out to 12,000 voters.
According to a new AZ Central story, LD13 is one of the four races that could decide the balance of power in the legislature.
